Heidetour 2021

Dear cycling fans! You read that correctly, the 29th Heidetour is scheduled to take place on August 15th. Our preparations are in full swing, and the current Corona situation looks promising. But first, a look back at 2020: Our 28th Heidetour on October 3rd, 2020 was a remarkable success despite Corona conditions. Only 5 participants short of 300! We sincerely thank you for responding in such great numbers to our call for participation and for joining us to enjoy a wonderful October 3rd on the bike. A stiff North German breeze was blowing, yet the sheep kept their curls – so all was well! Only friendly faces, temperatures around 20 degrees, no crashes, much praise from participants and BDR officials alike. Our routes for the eyes and calves kept their promise: ideal opportunities for healthy sport in fresh air. You perfectly adhered to Corona-related hygiene and distancing rules; sincere thanks to all of you for that. We look forward to hopefully similarly good participation at this year's 29th Heidetour.
