IVV_2022_Wolkersdorf im Weinviertel

If there is a birthplace for In Velo Veritas, it is Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel. Here, a first small test ride took place in 2011, here the prologue took place in 2012, and in Wolkersdorf, the very first cycling tour under the name In Velo Veritas occurred in 2013. In 2016, we also returned to Wolkersdorf, celebrating the 10th anniversary in 2022, where it all began! The mighty castle and its courtyard are still vivid in our memories. Additionally, there is an impressive castle park with old trees that provided us with shade on June 11/12, 2022. 'Welcome to Wolkersdorf! Here, cycling is of utmost importance,' says the new mayor Dominic Litzka, promoting transport on two wheels. So, what could possibly go wrong? Familiar place, familiar environment, familiar faces. With high spirits, we started the new season. It was the tenth. And it brought us back to the beginning. New again were the routes we explored for you in the cold season.
