About this tour

A tour through Carinthia, East Tyrol, and Slovenia covering 415 kilometers on the following bike paths: R4 (Wörthersee Cycle Path), parts of R1 (Drau Cycle Path), R8 (Glockner Cycle Path), R3 (Gailtal Cycle Path), R3 C (Tarviser Cycle Path), CAAR to Tarvis and the railway path from Tarvis to Jesenice marked FVG1a and D2. In Lesachtal from Tassenbach to Kötschach, currently only the Carnic Dolomites Road or B111 on the Carinthian side is available as a possible option. The conditions on the aforementioned bike paths are generally good, very good to excellent. The 'Pfusch from Spittal an der Drau' annoys me every time I use the R1 in Spittal, more about this on Day 2.
