Quiet and slightly hilly route through the beautiful Saale Valley. However, at the turnaround point, the question arises: who painted the road on the wall?

I wanted to try a different route to Süßen See. It took a bit longer to find the right path, so I'll get to the lake next time. The route via Liskau is very nice to ride. There are concrete slabs on the dirt road, so riding a road bike poses no problems.

In Gutenberg geht es ein paar "Serpentinen" hoch, so dass etwas Alpenfeeling aufkommt und die Kletterei am Petersberg mit knappen 16% ist auch nicht schlecht. Ansonsten ist die RUnde eher flach aber markant und lässt sich ruhig fahren.

Die Straßen sind alle samt in einem recht guten Zustand. Mit dem Rennrad gibt es nirgendswo Probleme. Der Anstieg bei Köttingen hat 13-14% und beginnt sofort nach der Kreuzung. Da die Abfahrten recht kurvig sind, muss besonders auf die Autos geachtet werden, die trotzdem versuchen zu überholen. …

Many fairly good bike paths. In some places it is advisable to use the road (especially in towns and villages). If you follow the bike path signs to E., you get to E. quite quickly. The way back requires a bit of improvising, but it's possible :).

The route is very good to ride. Occasionally, I had to venture onto the road since the bike paths were not very nice. But overall, I highly recommend it. Riding in Denmark is a beautiful experience. The route is ideal for easterly winds.
