About this collection
This easy, confidence-building e-bike route follows some of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular shared pathways, designed specifically for community ThinkChange e-Bike Experiences and e-Bike Skills Workshops.
The ride focuses on safe, everyday cycling rather than speed or distance. Riders travel along wide, sealed pathways with gentle gradients, clear sightlines, and minimal road crossings — ideal for people who are new to cycling, returning to riding, or curious about using an e-bike for short trips, commuting, or recreation.
Along the way, participants learn:
How to ride confidently on shared paths
E-bike controls, braking, and cornering techniques
Pathway etiquette and safe passing
Real-world tips for local trips, errands, and weekend rides
The route is also used as a practical outdoor classroom during ThinkChange mechanical and skills workshops, allowing riders to apply what they learn immediately in a relaxed, supportive environment.
This experience is about building confidence, capability, and connection — showing how e-bikes can fit naturally into everyday Sunshine Coast life.
