Paris Olympic Cycle Network

A collection of 3 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

Built for the Paris 2024 Games, this is a city‑wide bike network linking Olympic and Paralympic venues with everyday destinations across Paris and Île‑de‑France. It’s a collection, not a single line—start anywhere and mix segments to suit your ride.

Expect mostly smooth asphalt with lots of protected cycleways. You’ll also roll through quiet streets and pedestrian areas, with the odd stretch of paving stones, cobbles, or short gravel. Across all segments, the network runs to roughly 100 km.

Pick riverside sections for easy cruising, or head out toward Saint‑Denis and Saint‑Quentin‑en‑Yvelines for stadiums and the velodrome. Inner‑city spurs reach landmarks near the Seine, major squares, and parks; outer links connect to greenways and suburban towns.

Great for everyday riders and visitors. Family‑friendly bits hug the river and parks; some links use busier roads, so ride alert and use lights. Wayfinding is decent but not perfect—bring a map/app. During events, a few links can be rerouted or crowded.

Choose a segment, follow the bike lanes, and enjoy Paris on two wheels.
