Andelsbach Cycle Route

Along the Andelsbach

Andelsbach Cycle Route

A collection of 6 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

An easygoing ride tracing the Andelsbach on quiet country roads and farm tracks. Mostly paved and asphalt with a few gravel sections; 32 mm+ tires are ideal. The terrain is gently rolling with roughly 150–170 m of climbing, so it suits casual riders and families.

There’s no fixed start—just hop on anywhere along the stream and follow it through meadows, fields, and small villages. Traffic is low, with only brief links on busier roads. Expect waterside views, small bridges, and a calm countryside vibe. After rain, the gravel and farm tracks can get soft, and you may meet the odd tractor.

Ride it in either direction. For a short spin, turn back at any bridge; for the full stretch, plan on roughly 15 km end to end.
