Hohenzollern-Baden Bike Route (Alternative)

A short, easy spin between the historic Hohenzollern and Baden areas in Baden-Württemberg. Mostly smooth pavement and quiet country roads, with a few farm tracks and short path sections. Terrain is gently rolling (about 60 m up, 100 m down) and there’s only a brief stretch on a busy road. Great for a relaxed ride, sightseeing, or linking bigger routes. Works well on touring or gravel bikes; road bikes are fine too, but expect a couple of rough bits. If you want all-asphalt, you can detour around the tracks. Quick stats: around 10 km total, mostly paved with a mix of quiet road, standard road, track, and path. Bring lights and a bell for the lanes, and watch for tractors. On clear days you might spot the Swabian Jura on the horizon. Use it as a mellow standalone ride or an alternative line through the area.
