2 Banks, 3 Bridges – Tour 3

A collection of 5 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

0

A relaxed riverside loop that plays both banks and hops across three bridges. Part of the Two Banks, Three Bridges series, this ride uses mostly cycleways and quiet roads with a good mix of smooth asphalt and firm gravel, plus a few track and path sections. Terrain is mostly flat with just gentle rises—easy spinning rather than climbing.

It’s flexible: start anywhere on the loop and ride it either direction. The bridge crossings break the route into neat chunks, so you can shorten or extend by staying on one bank if you like.

Best on a hybrid, trekking, or gravel bike; road bikes are okay if you’re fine with some compacted and occasional loose gravel. Expect a couple of short busier bits near bridge approaches and shared paths—ride politely.

Great for a laid‑back weekend spin or after‑work ride with river views and plenty of spots to pause by the water. Pack basic lights and enjoy the breeze.
