About this collection
A smooth, mostly flat link between Aarschot and Herentals in Flanders. Built as a cycle highway, it rides on wide, paved asphalt with long stretches of fully separated cycleway—ideal for a fast commute or an easy weekend spin.
This one is still a “wenslijn” (in development), so expect occasional gaps or short detours via quiet streets until the missing links are finished. When it comes together, it’s a low‑stress corridor connecting the Hageland to the Kempen with minimal stops and gentle elevation.
Good to know: surfaces are paved end‑to‑end, and the gradient is mild—fine for any bike. Trains run to both Aarschot and Herentals, making out‑and‑back or one‑way rides simple. Keep an eye out for local F106/fietsostrade signage and possible works along the route.
Great for commuters, families, and anyone who wants a safe, direct ride between these two towns.
