About this collection
Easy point-to-point link on Baden-Württemberg’s RadNETZ from Appenweier to the Oos district of Baden-Baden. It’s roughly 10 km and basically flat, with about 20 m of up and down.
Most of it rolls on smooth asphalt, with a short gravel bit (around 0.5 km) that’s fine for most bikes. You’ll ride a mix of farm tracks, forest paths, and quiet roads, with a couple of brief busier sections—just stay alert there.
Scenery flips between Rhine valley fields and the foothills vibe near the Black Forest. It’s a nice everyday link or an easy cruise, and it lands you by the Baden-Baden (Oos) rail hub, which is super handy.
Good year-round; after rain the gravel can be soft. Follow RadNETZ signs where posted—having a map helps at a few track junctions. If you want all-paved, a small detour can skip the gravel.
