Local Cycle Route 24

A short, easy local link around 6.3 km with gentle climbing (~13 m). It runs mostly on dedicated cycleways and quiet streets, with a tiny section on a busier road.

Surfaces are mostly paved (mainly asphalt), with a couple of short gravel/ground patches and the odd bit of paving stones or concrete. Expect smooth rolling for most of it—great for city bikes and hybrids; road bikes are fine too, just take it easy on the unpaved bits.

Good for everyday rides, quick errands, or a relaxed spin. Watch for shared areas and crossings, and follow LCN 24 signs if you see them. After heavy rain, the gravel stretches can be soft.

Ride it either way and link it with nearby streets to make a longer loop.
