Valleys Greenway

Voie Verte des Vallées

Valleys Greenway

A collection of 18 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

A relaxed network of valley routes linking towns via traffic-free greenways, cycleways, and quiet backroads. Surfaces are mostly paved and asphalt with plenty of gravel and a few unpaved stretches, so a hybrid or gravel bike is ideal; road bikes are fine on the smoother bits. Expect easy cruising in places, some rolling climbs, and the odd short connector on busier roads.

Dip in for short family-friendly rides on the path sections, or connect segments for a longer tour through river corridors, farmland, and forest. Wayfinding is usually simple on the greenway stretches—just plan ahead where the route hops onto roads. Perfect for weekend spins, casual touring, or a mellow bikepacking loop.

Heads-up: surfaces can vary across the collection, with occasional cobbles, bridges, or boardwalks. If riding with kids, stick to the path-heavy segments and avoid the busier connectors. Pack the usual spares, bring snacks and water, and enjoy the scenery that comes with following the valleys.
