Sheboygan Interurban Trail

A mostly paved, easygoing ride linking Sheboygan’s neighborhoods, parks, and the Lake Michigan shoreline through Sheboygan County. Expect roughly 29 km one-way with gentle grades and a mix of off-street path and quiet streets, plus a few short busier road sections.

Great for everything from a family roll to a steady fitness spin. You’ll pass green spaces, beach access, and local hubs with spots to refuel. Wayfinding is generally good, but there are brief gaps where you follow regular streets.

Good to know:

• Wind off the lake can make one direction faster—plan your return.
• Use lights and ride alertly where the route joins traffic.
• Surfaces are mostly asphalt; wider tires help on the occasional rough patch.

Start anywhere along the corridor and ride as far as you like—an out-and-back makes a mellow half- to full-day ride.
