Oder–Odra Greenway Cycle Routes
A collection of 4 cycling routes.Cruise the Oder/Odra river valley on a laid‑back mix of levee paths, quiet village roads, and farm tracks. This collection strings together scenic riverside stretches with easy links through towns on the German–Polish border. It’s mostly flat cruising with big‑sky views, wetlands, and plenty of bridges and river bends to keep it interesting.
Surfaces are mixed: lots of smooth asphalt, plus long gravel and hardpack segments, with the odd bit of cobbles or paving stones. A touring, trekking, or gravel bike is ideal; 32–40 mm tires make the unpaved bits a breeze. Expect wind on open dykes and patches of shade in forest and floodplain sections.
Great for day rides or a mellow multi‑day tour. Resupply is simple in frequent towns and villages, and there are handy train connections to hop on or off along the way. Signage can vary, so bringing a GPS track helps. Best from spring to autumn; after heavy rain, low‑lying sections can get soggy.
If you like riverside riding, quiet backroads, and borderland vibes, this one’s a winner.
