About this collection
Ride the Belgian coast from Knokke-Heist to Nieuwpoort on the F34, a mostly paved mix of seafront cycleways and quiet streets. Think sea breeze, dunes, and beach towns one after another.
You’ll roll past Zeebrugge and Blankenberge, the Belle Époque charm of De Haan, Bredene’s wide dunes, lively Ostend (with a handy free ferry across the harbor), Middelkerke, and into Nieuwpoort’s locks and marina. It’s flat almost the whole way—wind is the real climb.
Surfaces are mainly asphalt and paving stones with a few short road sections, so any city, touring, or e‑bike is perfect. It’s family‑friendly, with loads of cafés, beach stops, and the coastal tram nearby if you want to hop on and skip a stretch.
Tips: check wind direction and ride with a tailwind, take it easy on busy promenades, watch for tram tracks at crossings, and bring an extra layer—sea weather turns fast.
