Overview

About this collection

0

A relaxed collection of rides through the heart of France, linking quiet villages, riverbanks, and open countryside. Expect plenty of car-free paths and signed cycleways, with short links on quiet roads and the occasional farm track or gravel stretch. Most surfaces are paved and smooth; a few bits get rough, so wider tires (32–40 mm) are a nice plus.

Terrain is mostly gentle and rolling with the odd climb—great for sightseeing, photo stops, and bakery breaks. It works well for casual day rides or stitching a few segments into a mellow weekend tour. Families and newer riders will enjoy the cycleway-heavy sections; confident riders can explore the mixed-surface parts.

There’s no fixed start: pick a town along the network and hop on. Waymarking is generally good, but having a map or GPS track helps where paths turn to tracks. Pack water, basic spares, and take your time.

In short: classic central France vibes—quiet, scenic, and made for unrushed pedaling.
