Planned fast bike link across Belgian Limburg, connecting Hamont-Achel, Pelt, Lommel, and Mol. Expect mostly quiet roads and dedicated cycleways with hardly any busy-road sections, designed for smooth everyday rides and longer commutes.
The line runs through the flat Kempen region—think forests, canals, and small towns near the Dutch border. Because this is a “wenslijn” (wish line), parts may still be missing, unsigned, or not fully built. Surfaces can vary (plenty of concrete and asphalt, with gaps still being mapped), so be ready for short detours.
Start from any town and ride a section or string a few together; it’s great for linking local centers, schools, and workplaces without traffic stress. Check local updates or signage as new stretches open and the route gets completed.
