Moose Loop
Moose Loop
A collection of 4 cycling routes.
Overview
About this collection
A big, smooth, mostly car‑free circuit. The Moose Loop runs about 52 km with roughly 250 m of climbing, linking long stretches of dedicated cycleway. You’ll spend over 98% of the ride on separated paths, with only about 1 km on quiet roads and just a few meters on busy streets. It’s almost entirely paved (mostly asphalt) with a couple of short wood and concrete sections.
Start anywhere and ride in either direction—it’s a true loop. Great for fitness laps, weekend spins, or a relaxed cruise with friends. Expect steady, gentle gradients rather than steep climbs, making it friendly for a wide range of riders and bikes.
Pro tips: bring basic spares, be courteous on shared paths, and plan your snacks and water since start/finish points are flexible. If you want to shorten it, just pick a turnaround point and head back—simple.
