D-Route 3: Rehfelde → Manschnow

Head east on this D-Route 3 leg from Rehfelde to Manschnow, rolling through Brandenburg’s wide fields and quiet villages toward the Oder and the Polish border. It’s mostly paved (plenty of asphalt and concrete), with some paving stones and classic Brandenburg cobbles in places, plus a few short stretches of gravel or firm ground. The riding is largely flat with gentle ups and downs.

Expect a mix of quiet country roads and bike-friendly paths, with the odd town-center section and occasional busier road crossing. It suits touring and trekking bikes; slightly wider tires help on cobbles and gravel. Pack lights for the brief traffic bits.

Highlights: open farmland of the Märkisch-Oderland, small village streets, and big-sky views as you approach the Oderbruch. Roll into Manschnow near the river dykes and the border—nice spot to pause before continuing along the D-Route 3 east–west corridor.
