Karlsruhe – Schwetzingen (RadNETZ)

Direct cycling connection between Karlsruhe and Schwetzingen on the RadNETZ network. Mostly flat, with only a few elevation meters. The surface is mostly asphalted or paved; short gravel and unpaved sections may occur. The route mixes paths and trails with quiet streets and some pedestrian areas – good for everyday rides and relaxed weekend tours. Best done with a trekking or city bike; possible with narrow tires too, but ride carefully on gravel. Both towns offer good public transport connections. Recommended start/end points are Karlsruhe Palace and Schwetzingen Palace Garden. Tip: Don’t forget lights, bell, and visibility, and roll cautiously on wet cobbles.
