Ruhlander Heide Radtour

Easy through the Lausitz: This tour takes you around Ruhland (Brandenburg) through heathlands and pine forests. The surface is mostly paved, with sections of gravel, cobblestones, and some setts – varied but rideable. You'll mostly ride on farm tracks, quiet roads, and cycle paths; only briefly crossing busier sections.

The profile is flat to gently rolling with about 135 m of ascent and 141 m of descent – relaxed to ride and ideal for a leisurely loop. Perfect for trekking and gravel bikes; possible on a road bike, but the few cobbled and gravel parts are rough.

Start and finish are flexible; you can join the route anywhere along the way. Bring enough water and a small snack – there are villages along the route, but not on every section. If you enjoy nature and quiet paths, this is the right place.
