About this collection

Varied loop around Chemnitz: about 42 km with around 800 m of climbing. Mostly asphalt on quiet roads, plus bike paths and about 5 km unpaved (gravel/forest trails). There are short sections on busier roads.

As a circuit, you can start almost anywhere – perfect for a longer after-work ride or a quick weekend loop. Scenery goes through the city area, out to villages and lots of greenery on the edge of the Ore Mountains foothills.

Best with touring or gravel bike. Road bike works with slightly wider tires if you're not put off by gravel.
