EuroVelo 11: Serbia

A collection of 19 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

Ride the Serbian stretch of EuroVelo 11, the East Europe Route. This is a long-distance north–south link across the country, connecting to neighboring networks at the borders and tying into plenty of towns along the way.

Expect mostly paved riding with a few short unpaved or gravel bits, plus the occasional cobbles. Much of the route uses regular roads and some busy sections, with only limited dedicated cycleways, so lights and visible clothing are a good idea. A touring or endurance road bike with sturdy tires will feel at home here.

Terrain is mixed—mostly rolling—with a few proper climbs to keep things interesting. You’ll find frequent resupply in towns and villages (food, water, accommodation), making it easy to break the ride into comfortable stages in either direction.

Because mapping is still being refined in places, surfaces and alignment can vary. Check local updates, signage, and current conditions before you roll. If you like big-country views, rivers and fields, and a classic point-to-point tour vibe, this section of EV11 delivers.
