A collection of 5 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

A great crossing of inland Brittany, from Camaret-sur-Mer to Vitré. This Trans-Armorique route mixes greenways, trails and small roads, with a large portion unpaved/gravel and very few truly urban sections. Expect trails, gravel and dirt, with some stretches on quiet roads; occasional parts may be more trafficked.

The profile is rolling from start to finish: no big climbs, but a series of hills that add up. Nothing very technical, but it's nicer with wide tires (35–45 mm and up). When wet, it can get sticky.

100% Brittany atmosphere: moors, forests, bocage, and a coastal start around the Crozon peninsula. At the other end, Vitré offers a beautiful medieval finale around the castle and ramparts.

Perfect for bikepacking and gravel enthusiasts looking to cross Brittany from west to east. Doable both ways: take your time, break it into stages, and enjoy the tranquility of the paths.
