Rotary/Mattamy Greenway Cycling Routes

A collection of 5 cycling routes.

Overview

About this collection

A connected greenway made for bikes. This collection links dedicated cycleways with park paths and quiet streets, so you can mix quick spins with longer outings. Surfaces are mostly paved (lots of asphalt and concrete), with a few short bits of gravel or wooden boardwalk and the occasional small set of steps—plan to hop off there. Most of it feels off-street and relaxed, but you’ll meet some on-road links, including a couple busier stretches and pedestrian areas—ride alert and share the space.

There’s no fixed start or finish—just join wherever it’s convenient and ride as far as you like. It’s generally smooth, with some gentle ups and downs depending on the segment you choose. Great for everyday rides, family-friendly cruising, or steady training.

Tips: bring a bell for shared paths, lights if you’re out early or late, and be ready for a few crossings. If you prefer mostly car-free riding, stick to the cycleway and park path sections and use the quiet-road connectors only when needed.
