Lake to Lake Cycling Route and Walking Trail (super)
Nokiidaa Trail System
A collection of 3 cycling routes.
Overview
About this collection
Easygoing network of multi‑use paths that’s great for everyday spins and relaxed weekend rides. It’s mostly off‑street: long stretches of path and signed cycleway, a few shared pedestrian areas, and just a tiny hint of quiet road. Surfaces are mixed—smooth asphalt, packed gravel, and some looser gravel—plus short wood and metal sections (think bridges/boardwalks). Wider tires help, but a road bike can manage with care.
The terrain is mostly flat with gentle ups and downs, so it suits a wide range of riders, including families and newer cyclists. Expect a shared trail vibe with walkers and runners; slow down in pedestrian zones and bring a bell.
Good pick for casual cruising, recovery rides, or connecting errands without much traffic. After rain, the gravel and wood bits can be slick, so ease off the speed and enjoy the scenery.
