About this collection

Fancy cycling along the Durance river? This route follows the valley in southeast France, between alpine terrain and Provençal atmosphere, very close to the river. It alternates between quiet minor roads, some busier sections, cycle paths and trails. The surface is mainly asphalt, with sections of gravel/dirt and a bit of cobblestones – a touring bike, hybrid or gravel bike is very suitable.
