Montour Trail
Montour Trail
A collection of 3 cycling routes.
Overview
About this collection
A chill spin on the Montour Trail, mostly on a dedicated cycleway. This collection covers about 11.7 km. Surfaces are mixed: a lot of unpaved/loose gravel, a few short paved stretches, and some parts where the surface isn’t documented—so wider tires are a good call.
Expect roughly 150 m of climbing and a similar amount of descent, more rolling than steep. It’s a solid pick for an easy-paced ride, training miles, or a casual outing. Gravel or hybrid bikes are ideal; MTBs cruise it; road bikes work if you’ve got sturdy tires.
There’s no fixed start/end here, so just hop on where it’s convenient and ride it out-and-back. Bring water and lights if you’ll be out near dusk, and be mindful that gravel can get soft after rain. Enjoy the dedicated path and steady flow.
