4. Etappe La Boca - Gienfuegos

Von La Boca fĂŒhrt der Weg ĂŒber Trinidad zunĂ€chst an der KĂŒste entlang und man kommt zĂŒgig voran, es gibt einige Badegelegenheiten und Restaurants am Weg. Nach der HĂ€lfte der Strecke wird das Profil etwas welliger. Am Weg findet man den âJardin Botanicoâ, der durchaus sehenswert ist. Schon von weitem ist die Zementfabrik von Cienfuegos zu sehen. Man fĂ€hrt den Prado entlang und gelangt zum hĂŒbschen Malecon, linkerhand vom Prado gelangt man durch eine hĂŒbsche FuĂgĂ€ngerzone zum Zentrum âParque Jose Martiâ

3. Etappe: Topes de Callantes - La Boca

Auch diese Etappe ist nur eine Halbtagesetappe aus der Sierra hinunter zum Meer, wobei einige krĂ€ftige Gegenanstiege zu bewĂ€ltigen sind. Auf der teilweise extrem steilen Abfahrt ist insbesondere mit GepĂ€ck Vorsicht geboten, man sollte ggf. Stopps einlegen, um die durch das starke Bremsen erhitzten Felgen abzukĂŒhlen. Wir hatten allein hier 3 Reifenplatzer. Am Ortseingang von Trinidad biegt die StraĂe nach La Boca ab. Der idyllische Fischerort unweit der vom Tourismus stark frequentierten Stadt ist zum Ăbernachten in jeden Fall die bessere Wahl. Hier gibt es mehrere gemĂŒtliche Casaâs Particulares.
