Begin your route by travelling 49th Avenue North (east) to Hampshire Avenue North. On Hampshire go right (south) and continue to 38th Ave. N. At 38th take a left, cross over Douglas Dr. and turn right on Brunswick Ave. North. Travel south on Brunswick all the way to Medicine Lake Road where Brunswick continues, but you must jog over a block to the west (right). Follow Brunswick south of Med. Lk. Rd. to Duluth Street. At Duluth Street, turn left - towards downtown Minneapolis. Follow Duluth St., crossing over Hwy 100 where Duluth St. turns into Golden Valley Road. Follow Golden Valley road all the way to Theodore Wirth Parkway. You will go right on Theo Wirth (and you can get on the bike path here and be protected from traffic for quite a while). Follow Theo Wirth through its twists and turns, past Glenwood Ave., over Hwy 394 to Cedar Lake Parkway. From here you can see the Cedar Lake Trail and you will be taking this trail into downtown. You will go right to get on the trail and cross under Cedar Lake Parkway. Follow the Cedar Lake Trail to its end at Royalston and South 10th street. Veer towards the right to 10th street and follow to Hennepin Avenue. At Hennepin, go left and enjoy riding in the bike lane. Ride Hennepin to 6th street south and go right. This will take you to your destination.
