Roll out from sunny Nelson and follow the separated cycleway to Richmond. It’s a short, smooth link on the TA—mostly paved, mostly flat—with a couple of gentle rises. Expect light traffic and plenty of cafes at both ends. You’ll skirt the Waimea estuary and suburban parks before cruising into Richmond, a handy resupply spot and gateway to Tasman’s trails.
