Cycling in Comarnic

Din Comarnic se urca...aparent descurajant de inclinat. Foaie mica...pinion mare. Este bine asa pentru cei mai multi. Urcarea ofera satisfactia peisajului si a caselor particularizate ale comarnicenilor...unice in regiune. In Secaria, in "cada de baie" este la fel de frumos. La iesire mai urmeaza o urcare de 2-3 km. In varf, la releee este superb si puteti admira imprejurimile, eventual sa faceti un popas. Urmeaza apoi coborarea pana in Campina, pe langa barajul Paltinul. Peisaj superb. Spre Telega se face intersectie, comuna care se distinge prin peisaj si constructiile deosebite. De aici, se poate spune ca incepe sa se coboare in stil dinamic pana la Ploiesti. Merita acest traseu! Home Training Grounds Drive up to Crucea Secariei, unload your bikes and then bike down towards Secaria on the road. From the center of Secaria it's a mild climb towards Zanoaga from where the future road to Posada starts. The ride to Posada will take you through some nice bits of forest. Once you hit the main DN1 road again be careful crossing the bridge and then head left and under the bridge. You'll then have to carry your bikes accross the rail tracks to get to a short bit of road that follows the Prahova river. This will however help you avoid one of the nastiest bits of the DN1 curves leading from Posada into Comarnic.
