Most of the ride is on quiet roads and dedicated cycleways, letting you enjoy Taiwan’s lush scenery—and giving your legs a nice break from traffic. Around 85% of the surface is a bit of a mystery (think mixed, possibly some gravel or unpaved stretches) so a sturdy bike and a spirit for adventure will go a long way.
