Cycling day trip from Ängelholm to Båstad

Set off from the charming town of Ängelholm, right on the western Swedish coast, and make your way north to Båstad, a scenic seaside resort famed for its tennis tournaments and gorgeous beaches. This roughly 39 km ride takes you through undulating landscapes, with just under 270 meters of ascent and descent, making for a moderate but rewarding workout.

You’ll spend most of your time rolling along paths and quiet country roads, enjoying the peaceful rural scenery of Skåne. About two-thirds of the route is smooth asphalt, so you can expect a comfortable ride, though there are some mixed paved sections—nothing your tires can’t handle.

Båstad awaits at the end, perched on the edge of the sparkling Kattegat sea. After climbing to nearly 119 meters above sea level, you’re treated to fantastic views before cruising down to the coast. Grab a fika or dip your toes in the sea to wrap up a perfect day on two wheels.
