By bicycle from Moabit to Kreuzberg

This is a relaxed ride from Berlin’s Moabit district down to the vibrant heart of Kreuzberg—perfect for city cycling fans. Starting in Moabit, a bustling area known for its multicultural buzz and leafy canals, you’ll enjoy mostly paved surfaces (lots of smooth asphalt!), making for a comfy ride almost the whole way. Expect to roll mostly along quiet roads and dedicated cycleways, so you can soak up the city sights without heavy traffic stress.

The 7.9 km journey is gently undulating—barely 35 meters of climbing—so it’s doable for most riders. You might bump over a bit of classic Berlin cobblestone here and there, but it’s brief and adds some city character!

Cruising into Kreuzberg, you’ll end in one of Berlin’s liveliest neighborhoods. Kreuzberg is famous for its street art, sprawling parks, and endless cafes—great for a post-ride coffee or snack. In less than an hour, you’ll go from waterside charm to cutting-edge culture, all at an easygoing Berlin pace.
