Quick ride by bicycle from Jena to Magdala

This ride takes you from the lively university city of Jena to the quieter town of Magdala, covering just over 18 km with a nice mix of terrains. You'll leave behind Jena’s vibrant blend of science, history, and quirky student life, heading west into a more rural and peaceful vibe.

The route starts gently along paved and asphalt roads—perfect for a warm-up and enjoying Jena's green surroundings. But don’t get too comfy! There’s some serious climbing ahead—over 350 meters in elevation—so expect your legs (and lungs!) to get a good workout, especially on those gravel sections in the middle.
