Cycling day trip from Władysławowo to Hel

This is an awesome cycling trip along the famous Hel Peninsula! Starting in Władysławowo—a lively seaside town known for its sandy beaches and as a gateway to the Baltic Sea—you’ll follow a mostly flat 36 km route all the way to the tip at Hel.

The ride is mostly paved (with a mix of classic paving stones and some gravel), so it's a great adventure for both city bikes and hybrids. Over half the route rolls along a dedicated cycleway, hugging the coast and sometimes diving through fragrant pine forests. You’ll have the Baltic sparkling on one side and glimpses of Puck Bay on the other—truly unique!

At journey’s end, Hel is an absolute treat: the town sits dramatically at the end of the narrow peninsula, famous for its chill atmosphere, long beaches, and its seal sanctuary. It’s a perfect day’s ride, with only gentle climbs, so you can take your time, stop for some fish and chips, and enjoy the sun and sea breeze!
