Cycling day trip from Międzylesie to Kłodzko

This ride takes you from the southern border town of Międzylesie to the historic city of Kłodzko—a great route if you love a mix of quiet countryside roads and some gentle climbing. Expect around 58 km of mostly peaceful riding, where over half your journey is on tranquil roads with very little traffic, and another third winds along scenic tracks through rolling Lower Silesia.

The route has a solid mix of surfaces, too—more than a third is good old asphalt, but be prepared for sections where the surface is a bit of a mystery or comes with a rustic, pebbly feel. The climbing (around 576 meters up!) pays off with some fun descents, and you’ll reach heights around 555 meters above sea level—which means great views of the surrounding valleys.

Start off in Międzylesie, nestled in the Sudetes at Poland’s southern tip. By the time you reach Kłodzko, you’ll roll right into a town known for its medieval fortress and beautiful old bridges. If you fancy a coffee or a wander, Kłodzko’s charming old town is the perfect reward at the finish!
