Bikepacking from Kristiansand to Stavanger

This adventurous cycling route takes you from the charming southern city of Kristiansand all the way up the spectacular coast to Stavanger—a total journey of just over 300 kilometers! Kristiansand is known for its bustling harbor and relaxed vibe, making it a great place to set off. Along the way, you’re in for a real treat: a mix of rugged coastlines, rolling hills, and classic Norwegian fjord scenery.

The path is mostly paved or asphalt, but keep your wits about you—there’s a bit of gravel and some missing surface data, so it might get bumpy in spots. You’ll be tackling a pretty serious total ascent of over 7,100 meters, but with that comes the reward of long, sweeping descents and incredible viewpoints at up to 440 meters above sea level.
