By bicycle from Corvara to Abtei-Badia

This scenic cycling route takes you from Corvara, a charming alpine village nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, to Abtei-Badia, another picturesque Ladin community. The ride is just over 11 km, making it ideal for an adventurous morning or afternoon.

You'll start off surrounded by the breathtaking peaks of Alta Badia, with a mix of climbs and descents—expect to ascend almost 280 meters, while descending nearly 475 meters. Most of the route is on quiet roads and tracks, so it's usually peaceful, and you’ll be rolling past meadows, forests, and traditional Tyrolean homes. More than half the route covers missing or unpaved surfaces, including a healthy chunk of gravel, so wider tires are definitely a plus here!

Abtei-Badia, your destination, is a vibrant village known for its rich Ladin culture and beautiful views. Treat yourself to a coffee or some strudel in the village center before heading back—or just soak up the mountain atmosphere.
