Bikepacking from Ljubljana to Pula

Ready for an epic ride? This cycling route takes you from the lively heart of Ljubljana, Slovenia’s charming capital, all the way down to the sun-kissed coast of Pula in Croatia. You’ll roll out from the famous Triple Bridge, weaving through historic streets before heading into the beautiful Slovenian countryside.

The route spans just over 267 kilometers—so it’s a big day in the saddle or a fantastic two- or three-day adventure if you want to soak it all in. Expect plenty of climbing (over 5,200 meters of ascent!), and a real mix of surfaces: from smooth quiet roads and stretches of gravel, to forest tracks winding through the rolling hills. Keep in mind, some sections are unpaved, so a gravel or touring bike would be your best friend here.
