Bikepacking from Ostrov to Mangalia

This scenic cycling route takes you from Ostrov, a small Romanian town nestled alongside the Danube, all the way to Mangalia, a historic seaside city on the Black Sea coast. Expect a real adventure: the ride is about 206 km with lots of ups and downs (over 2,100 meters of climbing), winding through peaceful farmland, dense stretches of quiet roads, and a healthy dose of bumpy old tracks, so a gravel or hybrid bike is a smart pick.

Ostrov, known for its vineyards and proximity to Bulgaria, is a sleepy starting place but perfect for fueling up before the ride.
