Cycling day trip from Kismaros to Szob

This scenic cycling route takes you from the riverside village of Kismaros to the charming town of Szob, tracing a gentle 21 km stretch along the Danube Bend. Starting in Kismaros, known for its friendly local vibe and proximity to the Börzsöny mountains, you’ll pedal mostly on smooth, paved cycleways — perfect for an easy ride with just enough gentle uphill (76 m) to keep things interesting.

The route hugs the Danube for much of the way, so be sure to look up and soak in those riverside views. With over 85% of the paths being paved (and almost no traffic!), it’s a relaxing ride that’s great for both seasoned cyclists and casual explorers.
