Rund um die Coromandel Peninsula

A multi-day tour along the coast, which can also be shortened over the mountains or extended with a mountain bike trip to the northern tip. Before Whitianga, there is a short ferry crossing; if there is heavy luggage on the bike, it should be removed, as the bike must be lifted onto the roof of the boat. An alternative for the route between Whitianga and Coromandel is the gravel 309 Road. Good places for overnight stays along the way are Hahei, Whitianga, and Coromandel.
