Elogio della Via Æmilia Scauri (e dei prati stabili)

A short rural route starting from the mill of Bosco Marengo. You pedal on white roads with the Apennines on the horizon, partially on the bed of the aforementioned Roman road. You reach the bank of the Torrente Orba, in the eponymous nature reserve, with precious riparian woods.

White roads that are sometimes very rideable, sometimes less so, particularly after rain. A mountain bike is recommended, but not essential. Short stretch of path on grass along the Orba.

Finally, it is worth noting the lack of historical and directional signage. But the journey is short, a few detours through meadows and ditches don't pose a big issue.
