Hotel Vespera-Mrtvaška-Čikat-Hotel Vespera

Gentle uphill on asphalt through the cool pine forest to the Kalvarija settlement. Turn right at the traffic light.

On the right side, something resembling a car scrapyard, on the left, barracks.

The climb starts gently and intensifies up to the viewpoint and further to Pogled.

At Pogled, the chapel S. Gioanni Basta with a beautiful view.

The road follows the hilltop with gentle ascents and descents until just before Mrtvaška.

The last two kilometers to Mrtvaška are a steep descent with hairpin bends. Caution is advised as I briefly found myself on the front wheel while braking.

Quiet Mrtvaška beach with a breakwater and tourist boats, a short rest and then back.

A tough little climb, stopping at two-thirds up for air and water.

Enjoyable descent to Mali Lošinj. Straight to Čikat and back along the seafront to the hotel.
