Elogio della Rol Verda di Verrua Savoia

The rol verda can be reached within a few minutes on foot from the gravel road that descends from the Sp 110 near Borgata Collegna to Borgata Scandolera. An opportunity to explore this hilly municipality with a long loop of ups and downs, which lacks a true center but is composed of 39 scattered hamlets among woods and small valleys.

Caution is advised when crossing the long bridge over the Po River and on the initial flat stretch on the Sp 1 to Piagera (fast traffic, but wide carriageway).

Some minor inconveniences are caused by poor signage in the villages of Verrua and by the short unpaved section between Cervoto and Scandolera.
