A lovely Sunday afternoon ride, also suitable for children who can brake well... the descent from Holzkirch to Breitingen is quite steep. Otherwise, almost away from the road, allowing nature to take its course - just watch out for oncoming cyclists. Along the Lone past the Fohlenhof (a cave used as a dwelling in prehistoric times) there are frequent opportunities to dip your feet in the water... and to wonder that the Lone was once the great river while the Danube was just a minor tributary.
