Muntii Capatanii - Horezu-Valeanu-Vf.lui Roman-Horezu

Very good route of medium difficulty with an ascent to the Capatanii ridge via Valeanu, in the Bistricioara valley, stunning landscapes towards the southern meadows, and descent along the road next to Vf. lui Roman (where a new concentration of holiday villas is being 'prepared'). Here the road is being modernized (it is currently bitumized gravel but it seems it will be asphalted up to the villas).

It can also be done in reverse if a climb on a better road is desired, but the descent will thus be more difficult (gravel road not really 'for racing').
